International Fire Consultants Group are proud to have sponsored the Education category at the New London Architecture (NLA) Awards lunch recently held at the Guildhall, London.
The annual New London Architecture Awards, presented in association with the Mayor of London, celebrate the very best architecture, planning and development schemes making the capital a better place in which to live, work and play.
The educational category covers Educational establishments of all kinds – nurseries, schools, academies, universities, training centres – where design enhances the learning experience.
Jeff Brydon, Account Director at IFC presented the prestigious Education award to the winners, Bennetts Associates, for their Royal College of Pathologists, E1 project. Bennetts Associates were delighted to have been short-listed and thrilled to have won.
Congratulations must also go to two additional practices who were both Highly Commended. Hopkins Architects for the Music School, Kings College School, Wimbledon and also Haverstock for the Belham Primary School, London.
With buildings playing a significant role in improved educational outputs and Fire Safety being a key aspect enabling building flexibility as well as open learning spaces, it was a natural link for IFC Group to sponsor the awards.
