This has earned IFC the BAFE Gold stamp of approval and ability to use the BAFE and NSI logos within set guidelines, to show we’re an NSI approved company.
BAFE SP205 certification underpins Kiwa IFC’s skills and expertise in the delivery of fire risk assessments across many different industry sectors. This is great news for new and existing clients as it provides assurance of quality in the work we do. IFC’s Director of Fire Risk Management, Glen Sumner said:

We are also now listed on the BAFE fire safety register with the BAFE SP205 Life Safety Fire Risk Assessment standard. This will allow users searching for Third Party Certificated BAFE Registered Companies who offer this service, to access our details.
The hard work doesn’t stop here. Now that IFC is approved we’ll enter into an audit programme for three years, which includes six surveillance audits a year. At the end of the three years, a recertification audit will take place and, assuming successful, lead to a further three years of surveillance.
